As first time visitors to Croatia, we made sure to plan our trip in a way to benefit the most from our time there. We can easily say that this trip was one of the most beautiful getaways we’ve done so far and Deni, our skipper, was the main reason behind it. We sailed with Deni for a period of 1 week along the coast of Croatia. During this time, he made sure to take into account all the ideas / plans we had in mind and at the same time he added his own touch / recommendation which made us enjoy our trip a lot more. Deni has an in depth knowledge of the history of Croatia, and can be your perfect guide when it comes to restaurant, shopping, night life & adventures. Deni has a superb personality. He is very passionate about Croatia and what he does, very considerate, calm & friendly. We surely recommend considering him when planning for your next trip.
In autumn we enjoyed already for the second time a nice family trip with Deni as skipper. From the trip planning, the weather information to the great restaurant and excursion tips: Deni knows the possibilitys very well. The wishes and ideas of the crew are taken into account by Deni with his calm, competence, thoughtful and friendly manner. So the trip becomes an experience for everyone on board! We can recommend him and are already looking forward to the next trip with him. Thank You for all, Deni!
“We sailed with Deni in and out of Dubrovnik the summer of 2017. We had a wonderful time, and Deni was a big reason why our trip was such a big success. We had a plan in mind of what islands that we wanted to visit, and Deni took this into consideration and then also had great suggestions and came up with recommendations to meet our needs. Our group had people of different ages, backgrounds and languages and Deni’s ability to work with a diverse group was also very much appreciated. We hung out with him sometimes (and he went to dinner with us when it made sense), but he also didn’t mind being on his own and just letting our family be together on other days. We really appreciated his ability to read what was important to the group and everyone had a wonderful vacation. In addition to finding us great spots for swimming we all thought that his restaurant recommendations were amazing! We hope to be able to go back to Croatia soon and we will definitively be booking Deni again for any sailing adventures! We recommend him to anyone who wants to go sailing in the Adriatic Sea. You will not be disappointed.”
We have sailed with Deni twice along the coast of Croatia and would happily go again. His sailing skills, intimate knowledge of the area and sailing conditions, comfort with the language, and ability to provide a fantastic experience makes him someone I highly recommend. If you are thinking of a trip to this part of the world, you’ll have a fantastic experience whether you sail with him or have him organize your experience. Susan J. Deni is a superb skipper - and so much more. He knows the history, architecture, art, topography, food, wine and sports of the region. As first-time visitors to Croatia, he was a perfect guide and gracious host. We will sail again with Deni.
When it comes to beaches in Croatia, the best advice is to head south: it’s on the Dalmatian coast where the most seductive sandy shores, pebbly coves and sun-fried rocks are to be found. Here are 10 of the best beaches in Croatia:
