The northern Adriatic consists of the Istrian peninsula and the Kvarner islands. The largest charter fleet is located in the town of Pula, known for its Roman Arena (amphitheater). The towns of Poreč, Rovinj, Umag, Opatija and the Brijuni National Park, as well as the Kvarner islands of Krk (the largest Croatian island), Cres, Lošinj, Rab and Pag are also located in the vicinity. This area is full of both cultural and natural sights, as well as delicious local food and products which are an integral part of the tourist offer of this part of Croatia.
